Today's adventure takes us on a lovely train ride from Jakarta to the charming city of Bandung, tucked in the breathtaking surroundings of West Java. Sit back, relax, and take in the amazing scenery as we travel to Bandung over lush green valleys, terraced rice fields, and towering mountains.
Upon arrival in Bandung, we will begin our city tour, exploring the city's rich culture, history, and natural beauty. Our first stop? The renowned Gedung Sate is a wonderfully maintained colonial-era structure that represents Bandung's rich architectural legacy. Admire the delicate intricacies of its Art Deco style and discover its intriguing history as the former seat of the Dutch East Indies government.
Next, we'll immerse yourself in Bandung's colourful culture by exploring the busy streets of Braga. Borobudur is a spectacular Buddhist temple on the Indonesian island of Java near the city of Yogyakarta. It is one of the world's largest and most impressive Buddhist monuments, attracting visitors from all around to admire its grandeur and beauty.
Borobudur, built in the ninth century by the Sailendra dynasty, is a UNESCO World legacy Site and a symbol of Indonesia's rich cultural legacy. The temple is well-known for its magnificent architecture, elaborate carvings, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Borobudur is made up of nine stacked platforms, crowned by a central dome and ornamented with approximately 2,500 relief panels and 500 Buddha sculptures. The complex carvings portray themes from Buddhist teachings and narratives, offering insight into ancient Java's spiritual and creative traditions.
Visitors to Borobudur can take their time exploring the temple complex, ascending the terraces and circumambulating the great stupa, appreciating the elaborate carvings and taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding environment. After visiting the temple you will also look at the local home industries in the surrounding area.

Today is loaded with cultural exploration in Solo, also known as Surakarta, a city famous for its rich Javanese heritage and strong artistic traditions. Today, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Solo as we explore its most iconic sites and hidden jewels.
Our first trip is Pasar Gedhe Solo, a lively traditional market that captures the sights, sounds, and smells of Javanese life. Lose yourself in a maze of stalls selling everything from fresh food and spices to colourful textiles and handicrafts, while friendly vendors invite you to try their items and bargain for the best price.
Next, we'll travel back in time to see the majestic Mangkunegaran Palace, which represents Solo's royal past and cultural legacy. Explore the sumptuous halls, elegant pavilions, and lush gardens of this historic palace while experienced guides tell stories about Javanese royalty and the Mangkunegaran dynasty's rich history.
After our palace tour, prepare to unleash your creativity as we learn the technique of batik making at a local's home. You will learn traditional batik techniques, including as waxing and dyeing, as well as elaborate patterns and designs, from professional artisans. This excursion begins before dawn as we travel to the entrance of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. From there, we'll board 4x4 jeeps for an exciting journey through the steep terrain of the Tengger Caldera, surrounded by towering cliffs and magnificent panoramas lighted by the rising sun.
Tea Plantation Wonosari:
The visit begins with a leisurely stroll through the tea fields, where rows of vivid green tea bushes extend as far as the eye can see. Take in the pure mountain air and the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside as our knowledgeable guide discusses Indonesia's tea production history and legacy.
As we tour the plantation, you'll learn about the tea growing and harvesting process, from caring for the tea trees to precise hand-picking of the tea leaves. Additionally, you will have the chance to learn about the cultivation and harvesting process from our professional guides.
There have been generations of farmers who have worked in unison with the land to develop crops using methods that are both sustainable and traditional. As we explore the plantation, you will learn about the complicated link that exists between humans and environment throughout the plantation. Our trip starts with a boat ride through the beautiful scenery from Lovina to Menjangan Island. Once we arrive, we will be greeted by untouched beaches, palm trees that sway in the breeze, and some of the most renowned snorkelling places in Bali. When we finally enter the water, you should get ready to be blown away by the kaleidoscope of colours and marine life that is waiting for us below.
Due to the fact that Menjangan Island is recognised for its abundant biodiversity and healthy coral reefs, it is the ideal playground for snorkelers of all ability levels. From colourful coral fish and graceful sea turtles to majestic manta rays and joyful dolphins, you will come face to face with a spectacular assortment of marine wildlife as you glide smoothly through the warm tropical waters.
